Terminal 2 is an excellent terminal at Manchester Airport. Whatever your need, there is bound to be the facility in place to meet it. If you’ve forgotten your foreign currency or simply decided on the way that you’d like to take a bit more with you to be on the safe side you can visit the Bureaux de Change in the departures area before heading through security. If you’ve run out of domestic currency you’re not going to be short either as there are plenty of ATM services dotted around the departures area. An amusements arcade is available with all the usual car racing games for children (and the much older ‘children’!), shooting games for teenagers and gambling machines for adults. All sorts of meals, snacks and drinks are available from different franchises spread out throughout the departures area. If you have a hunt around, since you will have time in waiting for your flight, you will find that many places have offers on different snacks, especially the likes of Boots or WHSmiths, so think about what you’d like and go on a fun and time-consuming mission to find them on offer!
With Terminal 2 being such an important terminal, it is very easy to park near it. In fact, Manchester Airport has only two long stay car parks; one serving Terminals 1 and 3 and the other one solely dedicated to serving Terminal 2. Prices are very cheap compared to London airports with one week costing £64 and then every 24 hours after that costing £6.50 per day.

Parking prices have come down considerably in recent years for airport car parking, but you can still be picking and look for promotional codes to bring down the price even further should you wish. Of course, the most basic type of ‘promotional code’ is booking online as the parking operator will offer you quite large discounts for booking online, especially if you are staying for a long time period such as a week or more. However, it is possible to knock the prices down even further by searching online for Manchester airport car parking promotional codes. A quick search in the search engine of your choice will yield many results, but to make sure you are finding codes that actually work, try and look for websites that allow people to rate the codes they are displaying – a code with lots of ‘thumbs up’ will mean that it is generally accepted.
If you’re local to Manchester you should also check through all your junk mail, as boring as it sounds, to see if you can find a code. Many magazines sent through your door if you live in Manchester could well have a promotional code that entitles you to a fair bit of money off if you use it. You don’t need to feel ‘cheap’ by using these codes – everyone does it and the airport knows this! They wouldn’t provide the codes if they didn’t want you to use them! Simply enter them in when you book online or via phone – they probably won’t work if you don’t book your parking in advance.
